AMCP welcomes student pharmacists to come and explore the many educational, networking and career-building facets of AMCP Nexus. Here are five programs developed specifically for our student pharmacists and those who guide them.
SP1 - P&T Committees: Critical Research and Analysis Skills

SP2- Mergers & Acquisitions: Understanding our Changing Industry

With the ever changing health care landscape, managed care pharmacist need to be aware of how mergers and acquisitions could impact the industry. Student Pharmacists are encouraged to come learn about the complexities of combining Payers & PBMs and how to adapt to the changing market.
AMCP Managed Care Pharmacy Residency and Fellowship Showcase
Thursday, October 31, 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
The AMCP Managed Care Pharmacy Residency and Fellowship Showcase assists residency and fellowship preceptors, directors, residents and fellows in fostering relationships with prospective candidates and exchanging valuable information about their managed care programs.
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm - open only to P4s, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm - open to all. AMCP welcomes all managed care post-graduate residency or fellowship programs’ participation in the Showcase. Contract deadline for space reservations is October 4th, 2019. Participating programs will be updated on a bi-weekly basis.
The Residency and Fellowship Showcase features a forum for student pharmacists to meet one-on-one with representatives from managed care pharmacy residency and fellowship programs from across the country in preparation for post graduate activities.
This event provides an opportunity for potential candidates to explore managed care programs, foster new relationships and exchange valuable information!
