  • What are the registration hours?
    • The AMCP Registration Desk is in the Potomac AC lobby on the ballroom level. It will be open during the following hours:
      • Tuesday, October 29 | 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
      • Wednesday, October 30 | 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
      • Thursday, October 31 | 7:30 am – 5:45 pm
  • Where is the speaker ready room?
    • A ready room equipped with internet access, LCD and screen, computer station, and a laser printer are available during the meeting in Chesapeake 2-3. Use of the room is on an unreserved basis. Hours of operation are:
      • Tuesday, October 29 | 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
      • Wednesday, October 30 | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
      • Thursday, October 31 | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
      • Friday, November 1 | 7:30 am – 9:45 am
  • What is the dress code?
    • The dress code is business casual. Keep in mind meeting rooms can get chilly at times.
  • What is the AMCP Nexus hashtag?

  • I’ve lost/found an item – where do I go?
    • Please turn over/check for items at the AMCP registration desk in the Potomac AC lobby on the ballroom level. After the meeting, AMCP will turn over all items of value to the hotel lost and found office.
  • How do I access session handouts?
    • Please remember that AMCP posts handouts as soon as they are approved. There are two ways to access handouts:
    • From the app: Go to the session you are interested in on the schedule section. When you go to the session you will see the session description and speakers. Scroll down to the bottom and access the handout under resources. You can then download, email or take notes on the handout.
  • From www.amcpmeetings.org:
    • Under the program tab, click on Education Session Guide.You will need to login using your registration id (found on your badge and in your registration confirmation) and the email you registered with.
    • Click on the session guide to see a full listing of the educational programs available.
    • If a handout is available, you will see a paper icon on the top right corner of the of the session listing.
    • To access the handout, click on the session listing and click the handouts button.
  • I missed the CE code for a session I attended – what do I do?
    • Drop by the AMCP Concierge area in the Potomac AC lobby on the ballroom level and leave your name, contact information and which session you missed. Our education staff will get back to you.
    • You can also send an email to amcplearn@amcp.org and an Education Team member will follow-up with you after the meeting. 
  • I have a question and can’t find the answer here – where do I go?
    • Drop by the AMCP Concierge area in the Potomac AC lobby on the ballroom level. If they cannot answer your question, they will make note of it and an AMCP staff member will get back to you.
